WRAP's 2nd Annual 'Evening of Recognition and Remembrance' to honor LGBT rights leaders, victims of hate crimes

ANN ARBOR - On Friday, Nov. 12, the Washtenaw Rainbow Action Project will host its 2nd Annual Evening of Recognition and Remembrance at Kerrytown Concert House, 415 North Fourth Avenue in Ann Arbor. A reception will be held from 7-9 p.m., with presentations and entertainment starting at 7:45 p.m.
The event will honor the many years of public and private service of State Senator Liz Brater (18th District), State Representative Chris Kolb (53rd District), and Julie Steiner, executive director of Interfaith Hospitality Network at Alpha House, and their contributions to the advancement of civil liberties. The evening will also commemorate the victims of hate crimes in Michigan in 2004.
Cost for the evening is $30 per person, $55 per couple, or $15 students/limited income. Scholarships are available. Additional contributions are welcome. Proceeds will benefit the LGBT programs and services of WRAP Community Center. Reservations requested.
