Area businesses, library conducting canned food collection for the needy

The Great American Basket Company has teamed up with The Food Bank of Oakland County, the Low Carb Warehouse, and the Kid’s Directory of Southeast Michigan to provide canned goods to the needy this holiday season. Donate 10 or more non-perishable items at the Great American Basket Company to receive a 10 percent discount on any purchase and have your name entered in a drawing to win a gift basket, dinner certificates and a variety of items. The Low Carb Warehouse, located in Commerce Twp., will also offer a chance to enter to win prizes with a donation of 10 or more cans.
