Nominate your favorite volunteer, mentor, nonprofit organization, or corporation for the 2005 Governor’s Service Awards.
According to a letter by Governor Granholm announcing the awards, “It is through their efforts and the efforts of thousands of other Michigan volunteers that our communities are safer, stronger, better places to live and raise our families.”
This year, the GSA is joining with the Carter Partnership Awards. Former First Lady Rosalyn Carter will attend the recognition dinner in honor of the award winners and finalists this June.
Nominations must be postmarked by Friday, March 18, 2005.
The nomination form is on the Michigan Community Service Commission web site at http://www.michigan.gov/mcsc. For more information, call Mary Grill at 517-335-7875 or email [email protected].
