Lesbian mystery writers coming to Michigan April 11-14

Minnesota mystery authors Ellen Hart and Lori L. Lake are headed to Michigan and are stopping by some of the community’s favorite bookstores to read from and sign their newest books.
Hart will be promoting her 20th novel “An Intimate Ghost” which has been nominated for a 2005 Lambda Literary Award. Hart is also the recipient of the 2005 Alice B. Reader’s Appreciation Medal, a one time, career achievement award. “An Intimate Ghost” is a the latest in her popular “Jane Lawless” series.
Lake’s newest book is “Have Gun, We’ll Travel.” Her first book, “Gun Shy,” was published in 2001 and “Have Gun” continues her “Gun” series.
The mystery writing duo will be appearing at Aunt Agatha’s Mystery Bookstore in Ann Arbor (213 South Fourth Avenue, 734-769-1114) on Monday, April 11 at 7 p.m.; A Women’s Prerogative in Ferndale (175 W. Nine Mile, 248-545-5703) on Tuesday, April 12 at 7 p.m.; Schuler Books & Music in Lansing (2820 Towne Center Blvd., 517-316-7495) on Wednesday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m.; and Common Language in Ann Arbor (317 Braun Court, 734-663-0036) on the Thursday, April 14 at 7 p.m.
