Sean I normally enjoy your opinion articles, this one however, was not one of them. First the analogy of Nazis in the article is just uncalled for. Secondly, you refer to Bill O’Reilly as a “right-wing talking head.” It’s amazing we don’t see more support from the right on gay issues, because we end up attacking them. Are you aware Bill O’Reilly is in favor of “gay rights?” Additionally, throughout the whole article you make no real distinction between the ultra conservatives or “social fundamentalists” and the moderates. I’m sure there are plenty of liberals who would rather be called moderates than socialists. I don’t have the space to go into the misconceptions you have on all of these issues you list here, but your opinion is loosely based on reality.
