On Thursday, Sept. 22 join Operation Heart to Heart for an evening of charity-minded entertainment at the Male Box.
The event will raise funds for the American Red Cross as well as collect donations to help victims of hurricane Katrina.
Though the full list of performers was still being put together at press time, event organizer Charlie Trinqual said the event will have notable area drag queens and local talent like Paul Iwanicki who is active in the theatre community and the One Voice chorus.
Gabrielle Devereaux Tori Lynn will MC the event.
“The whole idea of this the concept was to not only bring the gay community together but to basically reach outside of our own gay community,” said Trinqual. “That was my main goal, to reach outside to show the area that we can come together, put aside our differences, whatever they may be and to help those in this tragedy.”
