JACKSON – Parents, Families and Friends of Gays and Lesbians will screen the film “Fish Can’t Fly” at their October meeting at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
The film “explores the lives of Gay men and women of faith as they recall their journeys to put their sexuality and spirituality in harmony,” according to PFLAG Jackson. “These are the personal stories of people who have participated in ‘ex-gay’ ministries and found in fact that they did not provide a ‘cure.'”
Immanuel Lutheran Church is located at 1505 W. Michigan in Jackson. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. For more information on the film, visit http://fishcantfly.com/index.html.
