Michigan Pride holds 2006 logo contest

LANSING – Calling all queer, LGBT and allied artists, graphic designers and otherwise creative individuals! Michigan Pride is seeking help to create the look and feel of the 2006 statewide events at the state Capitol in June.
Michigan Pride will accept logo submissions through February for the June 23 and 24 Pride Weekend of events. The Michigan Pride 2006 theme is “Make it Right. Make it Fair. Michigan Pride 2006.”
The logo will be used in various mediums including posters, postcards, the Michigan Pride web site, T-shirts and embroidered goods. A full list of the requirements for potential logo submissions is available online at www.michiganpride.org or by calling 517-371-8466. The selected artist will be announced in March.
