DETROIT – The event that started the women’s circuit party dance scene in Chicago takes it on the road Friday, June 9 when they make a stop in Detroit, Michigan. The Black Bra Party, conceived six years ago by Chix Mix Productions, is headed to Michigan’s hottest lesbian bar, Stiletto’s for one night of erotic debauchery when they present Black Bra Erotica.
The Black Bra Party annually in Chicago brings 1,000 women (lesbian, bisexual, transgender and yes, even straight) together for a night of passionate fun.
“The Black Bra Party is all about releasing your inhibitions and having a great time with ladies of all kinds in an environment most women have not experienced before,” says Chix Mix co-founder Julie Mosier.
At Stiletto’s, Chix Mix Productions will provide some of Chicago’s top women dancers, burlesque performers and DJs for the night’s event. Traveling to Stiletto’s will be the critically acclaimed burlesque pole dancers “Gravity Plays Favorites” who have gotten much attention for being the only performance troupe infusing burlesque performance with pole performance. Also on hand will be a world traveled fire spinner and hula-hoop performance artist, go-go dancers and DJ Dragonfire, one of Chicago’s top women DJs.
The party encourages the women to show up in sexy attire whether that means their black bra is hidden, partly showing or the main attire for the night. “It’s all about fun, being yourself and bringing to the women’s community what the guys have had for years – kick-ass Circuit-type parties that are sexy, erotic and talked about long after they are over!” says Chix Mix’s other co-founder Kathleen Ulm.
