Queer dating editorial full of stereotypes

By |2018-01-23T09:20:44-05:00September 14th, 2006|Opinions|

This (editorial) is a joke, right? (“Looking for love can be difficult in queer scene,” Sept. 7, 2006) You’re kidding about the stereotypes and over-the-top generalizations? The idea that gay men can’t find a partner because we’re only interested in superficial appearances and dick size is your attempt at humor? If the answers to these questions is no, then I’m just not getting the point of your (editorial) and apparently theres a parallel gay universe out there that I know nothing about. Gay or straight, it’s tough finding and maintaining a relationship. Please stop perpetuating the ridiculous idea that it’s harder for gay males that want to be in a relationship to actually achieve this goal. Oh Mary, I just can’t find myself a man! Bullshit.
