On January 19, 2019, thousands of women and their allies will come together in Washington D.C. to celebrate the two-year anniversary of the 2017 Women’s March on Washington. These are a peaceful demonstrations on Jan. 19, and in Detroit will begin at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. In Douglas, the march will begin at Beery Field and march over the bridge into Saugatuck. Across the state, many thousands of women have participated in this tradition annually.
