NORTHVILLE – Several entertainment acts that are regulars in Frankenmuth will make their Northville debut at the first-ever Oktoberfest from Oct. 13-14 in Millennium Park.
"We are excited to bring such a festive new event to the Northville community," said Jody Humphries, Northville Chamber of Commerce president. "Northville is a strong supporter of community-based events."
A wide array of German foods, including Sauerkraut, German chocolate chip cookies and potato pancakes, will tempt the taste buds of attendees. Music, crafts and carnival rides and games will be on hand to keep the kids occupied.
"It's a great time of the year for this type of event and everybody already recognizes what the event is and how much fun it can be," said Janet Bloom, Northville Chamber of Commerce marketing and events director. "This is a good one to bring into the fold."
