Metro Detroit couple Fred Huebener and Kevin McAlpine exchanged marriage vows Dec. 3 at the Willistead Manor in Canada. The Rev. Mark G. Bidwell of Metropolitan Community church of Detroit officiated the double-ring ceremony in front of 50 guests. Willistead Manor is a 36-room mansion nestled within a 15-acre park. It was built by Edward Chandler Walker, and designed by noted Detroit architect Albert Kahn to reflect 16th Century Tudor-Jacobean architecture.
