CLINTON TOWNSHIP n Wednesday, April 11 will be a memorable evening for those in attendance at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts as "AntiGravity: The Tour" explodes onto the stage at 7:30 p.m. From their trademark AntiGravity boots, to tumbling, trampolines, bungee cords, silk billows, Segways, and more iAntiGravityi defies more than the laws of physics. The troop merges aerial athletics and aesthetics into a breathtaking and shocking new art form.
For years iAntiGravityi has revolutionized the live entertainment world with pieces commissioned by some of our generationis greatest history makers and trend setters. Now, for the first time ever, they are bringing their adrenaline-pumping skills to you. Their brand new 90-minute show is an edgy, action-packed display of heart-pounding physicality and beauty in "AntiGravity's" unique style, which melds aerial acrobatics, extreme sports and urban dance with technology and popular culture. This full-scale show promises to be a wildly fun night of awe-inspiring, death-defying levity set to the biggest names in pop music.
An urban troupe headquartered in midtown Manhattan, "AntiGravity" was founded in 1990 and has performed in over 400 international productions, employed over 300 national and international champion athletes and maintained their core roster of urban dancers and underground specialty artists. "AntiGravity" founders and performers continue to expand their cutting edge style into uncharted territory, from the Metropolitan Opera House and Broadway shows to the Olympic Games and full-length original productions.
