I'm a long time Diana Ross fan and I thought your initial review of "I Love You" as well as your response to the loads of e-mails you received in response to your review was dead on.
Ross' voice has changed. However, she can still sing ballads when she really makes an effort. As for her lastest album "I Love You," I made the mistake of saying how much I hated it on one of her fansites and had a few fellow fans threaten to kill me. (LOL) They can be pretty extreme at times.
The truth is, Diana Ross has continued to embarrass herself during recent television performances (AI, GMA, TVLand Awards, etc.) and now I actually find myself cringing whenever she performs live because I know it's going to be bad.
As much as I adore the Supreme Diva, I too think it's time for the old gal to throw in the towel.
