MAPP offers extended hours for HIV testing

FERNDALE – On Saturday MAPP will extend its office hours and offer free HIV testing from noon to 6 p.m. at 429 Livernois in Ferndale (one block north of Eight Mile Road, in the Community Pride Building). A free gift card in the amount of $10 will be given to all gay and bisexual identified men who get tested on this day and return for their results.
People's lives are busy and that it can be difficult to schedule appointments during the week said Craig Covey, MAPP's president. For those who cannot make it to MAPP during the week, take advantage of this special Saturday and get tested. MAPP offers both confidential and anonymous HIV testing in a discreet, friendly environment. MAPP HIV counselors are certified by the state of Michigan and have extensive training in providing HIV testing and education. ThereÕs no reason to delay knowing your status.
