June 14-July 31. The Art of Carl Hoerman: An Emigre's Vision of America. The long-awaited retrospective exhibition of one of Saugatuck's most illustrious 20th century citizens and artists, including spectacular landscapes from Michigan and the American West. Tuition for the class is $150; enrollment is limited. Learn to capture gesture, troubleshoot proportion problems and mix flesh tones. Participants will work from life with both short and long poses. The class is suitable for both oil and acrylic painters.
