The organizers and volunteers of the 11th annual Ferndale Pub Crawl would like to thank Between The Lines for your generous support for our event held last month. The Ferndale Pub Crawl broke all attendance records again this year, and we managed to raise the largest amount of proceeds to date for five charities based in Ferndale.
Each year Between The Lines sponsors this event, and several others, and you help us get the word out to the community. Because of such support, we are able to be successful year after year.
More than 1500 people attended the walking tour of our downtown pubs and restaurants, and we raised $20,000 in proceeds which are being distributed to Midwest AIDS Prevention Project, Ferndale Green Cruise, Good Neighbors Garden, Ferndale Auxiliary Police, and the Ferndale Community Foundation.
Besides promoting our local businesses and raising money for charity, the people who attend the crawl have a wonderful time. Again this year, there were no issues or problems. This success is due in part to your publication.
As funding for HIV AIDS organizations continues to dwindle, we thank you again for being a good neighbor and partner in helping make our region a better and safer place to live, work, and play.
