Countdown to Creating Change

Event to put our Creating Change organizing in gear for Fall and Winter projects
Tonight! – Thursday, Sept. 20, 7 p.m.
Affirmations Community Center, Nine Mile west of Woodward in Ferndale
All welcome.

FERNDALE – "We anticipate a faaaa-bulous 20th Creating Change Conference in beautiful downtown Detroit Feb. 6 – 10 next year," reads the meeting announcement for tonight's gathering at Affirmations Community Center.
And with "next year" not very far away, Countdown to Creating Change begins with tonight's meeting.
Co-Chairs will be on hand to lead everyone through a Host Committee meeting to assess work and plan for the next crucial four-months of Host Committee organizing.
A light supper by Neal Morrison from Neal's Xquisite Catering will be available. Music from the guitar/voice of Kyle Norris, Ann Arbor's contemporary folk singer, and Detroit's own William Scott, a musical innovator who performs "Free Soul" for the same-gender loving community, will both perform.
Sue Hyde and Robin Wood, National Gay and Lesbian Task Force staffers who direct and coordinate the Creating Change Conference, will be on hand to greet,thank and answer questions.
As the announcement shouts, "Join us for this very special Host Committee gathering, the Countdown to Creating Change!"
