Second Annual Homecoming reception scheduled at MSU

EAST LANSING — LGBT Alumni of Michigan State University will host its second annual Homecoming reception from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13. All MSU LGBT alumni, along with their family and friends, are invited to attend. "Part of our Association's mission is to create networking opportunities for MSU's GLBT alumni, and to help strengthen their ties to the University", said Brian Cullin, the organization's president. "An annual Homecoming reception is a great way to do that."
The GLBT Alumni Association's inaugural event, last year's Homecoming reception at the James B. Henry Center, attracted a capacity crowd. "We have moved this year's reception to a larger, on-campus venue in order to accommodate more people", said Cullin. "During the past year, the number of people who have expressed interest in the Association has more than doubled, so we're hoping for another great turnout," he said.
The reception, to be held on the MSU campus in the Red Cedar Room of the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center, 55 South Harrison Road, East Lansing, Michigan, includes a buffet brunch with a cash bar. Admission is $20 (more if you can, less if you can't). Parking will also be available at the Kellogg Center (brunch event parking only: $5 or brunch event and game parking: $15). This year's reception is being sponsored by Greater Lansing Convention & Visitors Bureau.
