National HRC had few bright spots

The Human Rights Campaign board meeting the weekend of October 5, 2007 was hard, painful, tearful and complex. ENDA and HRC's work in diversity and inclusion took center stage in all discussions.
Seeing Sean Kosofsky and other members of the out Equality Federation side at the National Convention Center and at the dinner demonstrating in solidarity with our transgender community was great.
Knowing Triangle representing Michigan's LGBT community, played a role in the demonstration made an my day. The colorful stickers gave HRC members and other dinner attendees a simple yet effective way to show solidarity with our trangender sisters and brothers. Sean, you were the bright spot for me, personally, in a very hard weekend.
