Locks of Love charity salon event to help financially disadvantaged children

FARMINGTON HILLS – Armina and Emmett Yaksich of Modae Salon are hosting a Locks of Love haircutting and donation event to collect hair for hairpieces that will be given to financially disadvantaged children who suffer from cancer and other medical conditions on Saturday, Nov. 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hair donations must be 10 inches or longer and non-bleached, but dyed hair is acceptable.
Modae Salon will also donate 100 percent of the proceeds from first-time visitors who purchase a haircut or gift card, as well as 20 percent off all product sales from all visitors.
Modae Salon is located at 27618 Middlebelt Rd. in Farmington Hills.
