The Last Drag: Quit Smoking Classes for LGBT and HIV positive Smokers
The Last Drag is a quit-smoking class for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and HIV positive smokers. Quit smoking in a confidential and supportive group setting. Classes led by a highly skilled and experienced clinic leader certified by the American Lung Association. Each class consists of seven sessions (all required). Registration is online.
Cost: $25 for members, $35 for non-members
Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m., March-April 9 and March 20 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Not Quite Ready to Quit
The first workshop in our new quit-smoking series helps smokers increase their motivation to quit and eliminate roadblocks to making the big decision to stop smoking. This two-and-a-half-hour, all-gender workshop is free and requires pre-registration.
Cost: Free
Second Wednesday of every month from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Newly Single
A new support and discussion group open to LGBT people (or anyone who partners with people of the same gender or feels themselves to be part of the LGBT community), 18 and up who are newly single and are coping with the loss of a relationship. The group will offer support, resources, skill building opportunities and social events outside of the group setting.
Cost: Free
Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m.

Gender Non-Conformists
A social and support group for genderqueer, genderfabulous, transgender, gender-exploring folks and all those who transgress the gender binary. This safe, open and affirming space is also open to supportive family, friends and significant others.

First and third Monday of the month from 7 to 9 p.m.

Caring Partners
Are you providing care for a person with Alzheimer's disease or other related dementia? This support group will provide an opportunity for discussion, support and development of coping techniques for LGBT caregivers. Provided in collaboration with the Alzheimer's Association-Greater Michigan Chapter.
Cost: Free
Fourth Wednesday of the month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Drop-In Support
Did you know that between 33-50 percent of LGBT individuals have been in unsafe relationships? You are not alone. A domestic violence and sexual assault specialist is on-hand to answer questions or concerns you or someone you know have. Contact Ann Magner from the YWCA Interim House 248-506-6911.

Healing From Abuse
A confidential group meeting regularly for individuals to share and listen to each others' experiences, give and get support, feedback, information and resources. Open to people healing from sexual assault and intimate partner violence. Whole Lives, Healthy Lives
Support Group for LGBT Adults. Held every Monday (except holidays) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. This support group is free and open to all LGBT adults in our community. It is professionally facilitated and it is designed to provide a safe, therapeutic and LGBT-affirming environment for participants to talk about any aspect of their life in which they need support. Participants socialize before and after the meeting, and refreshments are provided.

LGBT-Affirming AA/NA Meeting
Held every Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. This AA/NA meeting is designed to be affirming for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons. Allies are very welcome too.

Life Skills Workshop Series
Held Mondays as scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m. This workshop series covers topics like conflict resolution, HIV/AIDS awareness, sexual abuse, theories of homosexuality, personal finance, relationships, religion and spirituality and other basics of life. It's a chance to practice new skills, focus on a special area of interest, or enjoy learning something new in an LGBT-affirming environment.
