Friend –
Never before have we seen this kind of enthusiasm and energy among voters in
support of putting a Democrat back in the White House. This campaign season
featured some of the best candidates our Party has ever put forward — among
them particularly Hillary Clinton and John Edwards.
As many of you know, I was an advisor to Senator Edwards until he dropped
out of the race. Shortly after that time, I endorsed Barack Obama for
President and I, along with my LGBT colleagues from the Edwards Campaign,
was welcomed by the Obama Campaign with open arms.
There is so much at stake for our community and all Americans in this
election. One thing is clear — we cannot win unless we are unified.

Barack Obama as the next President of the United States.
