New eateries open in Northville

Red Pepper Deli offers healthy choices

For those who are looking to jump start their healthy eating habits by making better choices while eating out, downtown Northville's August-opening restaurant, Red Pepper Deli, is serving up fresh (not packaged) delicious options.
The menu is 100-percent vegetarian, highlighted by an 80-90-percent raw food selection. The menu includes salads and sandwiches made-to-order every day with fresh herbs, greens, and homemade dressings with special entrees, soups and desserts that change daily.
In addition to a selection of raw breads, the Red Pepper Deli will also carry a couple of Great Harvest Bread Company's delicious selections.
The menu will also feature fresh juices, wheat grass, smoothies, raw desserts made from fruit and vegetables and raw cookies from Michigan's health-food store, The Tree House. Health tonics made from fresh juices which are good for anything that ails you will also be sold.

Table 5 brings European flair to an American menu

A delish meal that satisfies your hunger is on the menu at downtown Northville's newest restaurant, Table 5. Featuring American food with a European influence at affordable prices, the American Bistro serves up a casual-yet-elegant dining experience.
Table 5 is located at 126-130 E. Main Street in downtown Northville and is set to open in late-July.
