The LGBT Interest Group of the Washtenaw County Democratic Party has extended an invitation to anyone who wants to go to the Michigan Democratic State Convention this weekend, Sept. 5 and 6. The group will be seating a van or bus, depending on interest, to Lansing.
The offer is extended to those who have no other way to get to the Convention, including students, senior citizens, people with tight budgets, those who do not own cars, or anyone who wants to go but can’t find another way.
Transportation to the Michigan Democratic Party Convention in Lansing will be available both days of the convention. The convention runs for two days and transportation will be provided, free of charge, to any registered Democrat in need of service.
Those interested should e-mail the LGBT Interest Group of the Washtenaw County Democratic Party at [email protected] Those interested may attend both days or just one. Please specify your needs in the e-mail.
