Homecoming reception planned by GLBT Alumni at MSU

EAST LANSING –
Michigan State University's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender alumni association will host a reception at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 3, following the university's annual homecoming parade.
The LGBT alumni group, one of dozens at schools across the country, is working this year to bolster membership in an effort to reach more LGBT graduates of Michigan's largest university.
GLBT Alumni of Michigan State University, founded in 2005, works to promote the interests of its members and MSU by fostering opportunities among gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender alumni and friends to support each other and the university academically, professionally, socially, financially and politically.
The reception, which will feature music, entertainment, hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, is open to all gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender alumni and friends. The cost is $20 at the door.
