Faith Action Network hosts collaborative conference

From Oct. 17-19, the Faith Action Network will hold their annual Together In Faith Collaborative, a weekend conference of reflection, workshops and activities designed to bring together LGBT, questioning and allied people of all ages, races, relgions and spiritualities.
The TIF conference has been held since 2004, and will be held in Michigan this year for a more intimate audience of less than 50 participants.
The weekend, which takes places on Higgins Lake, includes massage and reiki work, community and team building, personal and spiritual reflection and fireside discussions.
There will also be Faith Action Network planning meetings, action meetings on such issues as health care, earth care and self care, plus skill building workshops that aim to empower participants to become more active in pushing LGBT initiatives forward.
Payment for the conference is decided by personal means, and may be any amount from $50-275, including meals, lodging and all programs. For more information, visit http://www.faithactionnetwork.org.
