Royal Oak to celebrate Oktobertfest with local festival

Royal Oak Farmer's Market, in conjunction with Steppin' Out, will hold an Oktoberfest celebration at the Farmer's Market this Saturday, Oct. 11th. The event is being held to celebrate the 83rd year of the Farmer's Market in downtown Royal Oak. The celebration will include live music by local bands the Motor City Sidestrokers and the Kielbasa Kings – and dancing is encouraged!
The evening will also feature a silent auction and a beer tent provided by Steppin' Out to benefit the organization.
Food and other beverages will also be available. Tickets are $10, and are available at the Farmer's Market office, and also at the door. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
