Dr. Renee McCoy, director of HIV/AIDS Programs for the Detroit Department of Health and Wellness Promotion, will be leaving her home of Detroit next month to move to Seattle.
A going away party will be held for McCoy 7-8:30 p.m. on July 2 at The Caucus Club, located in the Penobscot Building at 150 Congress in Detroit.
All friends and supporters of Dr. McCoy, a longtime advocate and member of the LGBT community, are invited to attend to give her a warm send off.
The event is free, with hors d'oeurves provided and a cash bar.
