Q Scopes: "Go somewhere, Capricorn!"

By Jack Fertig

Mercury entering Libra and Mars in Cancer are making a T-square to Pluto, provoking urges to speak out on any problem, probably too bluntly and forcefully. Think a little harder before speaking. That takes effort and focus – well worth the effort. Venus heading into Leo can soften our critiques, but is the urge to help really altruistic or egotistic? Stop and think about that.

ARIES (March 20 – April 19): Dangerously outspoken at work, think before you speak. Imagine that you are talking to your mother – or her brilliant other-dimensional counterpart. Try to make a game of housework. It's too Mary Poppins, but could help your mood.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20): Financial stress may push you to impulsive investments, and sexual desire can tempt you to spend too much. Being cheap shouldn't be expensive. Talk with your sister (or a "sister") before spending any more than absolutely necessary.

GEMINI (May 21- June 20): Personal challenges can feel like a challenge to your community and family, or somehow hit those same buttons your parents were so good at pressing. To rise above it, focus on what you like and value about yourself.

CANCER (June 21- July 22): Worrying too much about health and work can make you accident-prone. When you catch yourself dithering, stop, prioritize and focus. Extra effort to look nice can make you more conscious of performance, leaving you more focused and productive.

LEO (July 23 – August 22): Friends and hobbies needn't get expensive. You are creative enough to dazzle economically. Before any social event, stop, meditate and remember what's important. Asking friends to chip in can actually strengthen your bonds.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22): The seesaw of demands between home and work can make you cranky, saying things that you may regret. Confess to a friend that you need help staying calm and graceful. His or her support will be very helpful.

LIBRA (September 23 – October 22): A tendency to arguments shows that your brain needs a work out, but don't take it out on others! Push yourself to be even more open to new ideas and challenges. Consult with experts to get a better understanding of the question.

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21): Putting notches into the bedposts is not the way to win friends or boost your social status. It could complicate your social life big-time. Consider a philosophy for your boudoir, and use that as a guiding light, red or otherwise.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20): If you feel attacked in anyway, do not react directly, but think carefully how your opponent is unwittingly handing you keys to success. Lovemaking is now especially helpful for keeping you relaxed and aware.

CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19): Stressing out over work and personal worries can push you into silly arguments. Avoid them by taking off with your love – or a good friend – on an escapist adventure. Go somewhere or do something entirely new!

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18): Is sex a diversion or an inspiration for your creative brilliance? It could go either way, but you don't need excuses or theories regarding that. The proof is in your productivity.

PISCES (February 19 – March 19): Home, career … trying to do it all can be too much. Are you sharing enough of your burden with your partner? A playful approach can help you put it all in balance. Don't be afraid to toot your own horn.
