‘Dammit, Janet’: Rocky Horror’ is back!

It’s time to do the Time Warp again. Yes, the smash hit musical “The Rocky Horror Show” by Richard O’Brien returns for a limited engagement of two shows only at Meadow Brook Music Festival 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 and Saturday, Sept. 12.
Etico Productions and Palace Sports & Entertainment bring “The Rocky Horror Show” back to Rochester Hills in the outdoor setting of Meadow Brook Music Festival. This spectacular cult hit will feature the return of John Michael Manfredi in his multiple-award-winning role as Dr. Frank-n-Furter.
Returning with Manfredi are David Regal as the Narrator, Jason Richards as Brad, Andy Huff as Riff Raff and James L. Bowen as Dr. Scott. The festival production has garnered many awards, and is a favorite of “Rocky” fan publications and Web sites from all over the country.
A cult classic spoof of science-fiction movies, “The Rocky Horror Show” is famous for its audience participation and rock ‘n’ roll music. Audience members are encouraged to ‘dress the part’ and “Time Warp” with the cast as they follow innocent young lovers Brad and Janet through their adventure at the castle of the mysterious Dr. Frank-n-Furter. Outrageous and energetic, each performance features a costume contest with the winners joining the cast on stage for the grand finale!
Tickets are $25 reserved pavilion and $15 general admission pavilion, and are on sale now at, The Palace and DTE Energy Music Theatre Box Offices and all Ticketmaster locations. Special Superfan seating is also available.
