OutFest, Ann Arbor’s annual LGBT celebration, will return this year at 5 p.m. Sept. 18 in Braun Court, said aut Bar co-owner and planner for the event, Keith Orr. So far, details are still being worked out, but local bands Drag King Rebellion and (the) fundamentalists will perform.
Expect, as usual, resource booths and dancing, said Orr. This is OutFest’s 16 year despite the shift in organizers last year, when the Washtenaw Rainbow Action Project lacked the resources to hold the festival. Since, Orr and aut Bar co-owner have kept the celebration alive. Look for more details in Between The Lines as they’re announced.
