Lesbians of color support network hosts Motor City Pride Boat Ride

DETROIT-
The Lesbians of Color Support Network, the only mentorship program exclusively serving LGBT young women of color in Southeast Michigan, will host the first annual "Motor City Pride Boat Ride," a fundraiser aboard the Detroit Princess on June 5. LOCS Network has partnered with Equality Michigan to host the event.
This evening will feature world-renowned poets Jessica Care Moore and Natasha T. Miller, radio personality Madison Leigh, the band Final Cue, local singer/songwriter Charity Ward, international deejays Stacey "Hotwaxx" Hale and Lynda Carter and a host of other entertainers.
Boarding starts at 7 p.m. The boat will sail the Detroit River at 10:30 p.m., return at 12:30 a.m. and host a dance party until 2 a.m.
