Democracy For America Endorses Hoadley

KALAMAZOO – Democracy for America, a national progressive political action organization founded by Gov. Howard Dean, has endorsed Jon Hoadley in his campaign to represent District 60 in Michigan's State House.
"Jon Hoadley is the kind of progressive champion Michganders need in Lansing to stand up to Gov. Snyder and his Republican allies' cuts to education and infrastructure funding," said Charles Chamberlain, executive director of Democracy for America. "Democracy for America is proud to support Hoadley in his fight to represent a key progressive stronghold in the Michigan State House."
"I am honored to receive the endorsement of Democracy For America due to our shared values of supporting community, security, and liberty, as well as engaging more people in the Democratic process," said Hoadley. "I look forward to working with the thousands of DFA members in Michigan who believe in electing strong progressive advocates to the state legislature."
DFA has over 32,000 members in Michigan and 1 million members nationwide. Since DFA's 2004 founding, DFA members have raised more than $5 million and made more than 8.9 million volunteer calls in successfully electing 802 progressive candidates across the country.
