Trans Leadership Training In West Michigan

KALAMAZOO – February 12 is the last day to sign up for a free two-day training seminar for trans activist leaders in Michigan.
Spread out over two weekends, participants will learn about laws and policies impacting the trans community and will design and implement educational projects on trans issues in the areas of activism and building community across the state.
The two-day training is free and will be led by ACLU Staff Attorney for the LGBT Project, Jay Kaplan; Legislative Director Shelli Weisberg and a team of activist leaders including Emani Love, Amanda Niven, Amy Hunter, Preston Van Vliet and Sojn Boothroyd.
Join the ACLU of Michigan ACLU Project Feb. 14 and Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. at the Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership on the Kalamazoo College campus located at 205 Monroe street in Kalamazoo.
