Affirmations Showcases Religious Art Exhibit

FERNDALE – On exhibit for the first half of March, “Shower of Stoles” bears witness to the huge loss of leadership that many religious institutions have brought upon themselves because of unjust policies targeting the LGBT community. The project contains a collection of liturgical stoles and other sacred items representing the lives of LGBT people of faith, covering over 30 denominations and faith traditions from six countries on three continents.
The free exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. March 1 through March 15 (Monday through Saturday). For more information, visit
