The Affirmations L.E.A.D. (Leadership Exploration and Development) Institute is a first of its kind, transformational leadership program designed to provide emerging LGBTQ professionals with education, training, networking and mentoring opportunities to enhance their own personal and professional leadership development, build interpersonal networks and begin to position themselves in a leadership role within for-profit, public sector and nonprofit organizations in the Metro Detroit area.
In 2016, the Affirmations L.E.A.D. Institute will serve 30 Metro Detroit professionals ages 30-45.
The time commitment for the program is one full day Friday session per month for six months, beginning in January 2016. There is no cost to program participants in the introductory cohort.
Applications are due by Dec. 1.
