Internationally acclaimed countertenor Terry Barber has teamed up with 17-time Grammy-winning "Classical Producer of the Year" Steven Epstein (of yo-yo ma, Wynton Marsalis, Bobby McFerrin, Placido Domingo, etc) to create "Christmas Presence," a collection of unique arrangements of the world's most beloved holiday music.
The collection will include two duets. The first, "Christmas Once More," is a new song for the holidays, co-written by Terry and Gene Scheer. The song features opera star Denyce Graves. The second duet is a lullaby. "Christmas Lullaby" is a duet of the two rarest voice types, a countertenor and a boy soprano. The boy soprano is Erich Shuett, who is currently playing Friedrich in Broadway's "Sound of Music" tour. The album will also include "Christmas Prayer," a unique version of the sacred holiday favorites "Ave Maria" and "O Holy Night." This version has been musically arranged for Terry's extreme vocal range by Emmy-winning composer, Garth Neustadter.
Internationally acclaimed countertenor Terry Barber is known for his extraordinary vocal and stylistic range.
