Rev. Roland Stringfellow and Deacon Michael Hart believe knowing the Bible and having a basic knowledge of Christian theology is important for every Christian to have. The Metropolitan Community Church of Detroit will offer during the month of February a Bible study for individuals who would like to begin with the basics and grow from there. The first class is on Feb. 15 from 7-8:30 p.m. Topics will include, "What is Religion and Christianity?," "How Did the Bible Come to Be?," and "Basic Bible Study and Application." The class will meet in the MCCD sanctuary at 2441 Pinecrest Drive in Ferndale. All are welcome. Registration is required to participate. Call 248-399-7741 or email [email protected]. For more information, visit the MCCD website.
