Fresh off a very successful run at the Planet Ant Theatre in Hamtramck, Riot Grrrl 90s comes to Ferndale for a two weekend – limited engagement at The Ringwald Theater at 22742 Woodward Ave. Set in 1990s suburbia, Rachel and Jen meet in French class and become instant best friends. Their mutual love of Nintendo, Riot Grrrl music and smoking cigarettes gets disrupted when Rachel's neighbor, Mike, starts hanging around. Winner of the Audience Choice Vote for Box Fest Detroit 2016, this is an expanded version of the Award Winning Short Riot Grrrl 90. The performance features DeAnnah Kleitz-Singleton, Janelle Soulliere, Andy Reid, Lauren Bickers, and Dyan Bailey. Showtimes are scheduled for April 7-8 and April 14-15 at 9 p.m. The theater will again be accepting donations to Planned Parenthood at every performance. For more information or to purchase tickets for $10, call 248-545-5545 or visit http://www.theringwald.com/.
