Dear BTL,
"A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story" was painful. What Gwen went through was terrifyingly horrible. People are so hateful. It is only God's place to judge anyone. God Bless the Araujo family. I applaud Gwen's family for the love and support they displayed. The story of her life and how it ended needed to be told. All this hate needs to stop! There should have been no question as to the fact that this was a hate crime. Not acknowledging it as a hate crime was another excuse for people not to deal with the real ugliness that is within themselves. Unacceptable!
