Affirmations welcomes new board members

FERNDALE –
On Dec. 2, Brandon Jones and Tina Seitz were appointed to join the Affirmations Board of Directors. Effective immediately, they join a 15-member board which governs the 20-year-old Ferndale non-profit. Each will serve a three-year term.
Brandon Jones is the owner and chief executive officer of Southfield-based ITD Physical Therapy. ITD Physical Therapy strives to restore, maintain and promote overall fitness and health in their patients. Jones began his medical career in the pharmaceutical industry as a sales representative in the metro Detroit area. Jones' passion for excellence in the community was a key factor in starting his company. Since 2007, Jones has increased the number of patients by 250 percent. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Jones' success is largely credited to a natural business savvy and enthusiasm for leadership.
Tina Seitz is a senior scheduling engineer for General Motors and events chair of GM's employee resource group, People Like US. GM PLUS was awarded the 2009 Out & Equal Workplace Award for Employee Resource Group of the Year. Seitz is also a longtime volunteer and advocate at Affirmations.
