One hundred and forty artists will display their artwork at the 4th Annual Orchard Lake Fine Art Show from Aug. 4 to 6 at Orchard Lake Schools.
Many of the artists participating in the Orchard Lake Fine Art Show are making an exclusive Michigan appearance. In addition to the artists, a new event layout will offer a park setting with plenty of trees and a view of Orchard Lake.
"Our goal is to create an atmosphere that enhances the artwork and creates a relaxing environment for art lovers," coordinator Jim Sobczak said in a statement.
For event coordinator Patty Narozny it's about watching people who attend the show.
"I love watching people when they first arrive," Narozny said. "They are amazed by the landscaping, enhanced by the live music, the fresh bouquet of flowers on the tables, and really enjoy seeing the art in an entirely different atmosphere."
Narozny and Sobczak have traveled around the country and into Canada to seek out talented artists.
"It takes more work to find artists of this caliber, and it is well worth it," Narozny said.
