Audition for Ann Arbor Civic Theatre’s ‘Cabaret’

ANN ARBOR – Ann Arbor Civic Theatre has announced auditions for its production of “Cabaret,” directed by Chris O’Brien. Auditions for adults are Sunday, March 20 and Monday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m. Youth auditions are Saturday, March 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Callbacks, if needed, will be Wednesday, March 23, at 6:30 p.m. All auditions will take place at A2CT’s Rehearsal Studio at 322 W. Ann St.
“Cabaret” has roles for 9 women ages 20-60, 13 men ages 20-60, and 10 youths ages 12-18. Those auditioning should prepare 16 bars of a show tune (bring sheet music) and be prepared to move. There are roles for dancers and non-dancers. Auditioners need attend only one of the regular audition dates, but should be available for callbacks. No pre-registration is required. Specific audition information for various roles is available online or by calling the A2CT office. Production dates are June 9-12, 2005, at The Lydia Mendelssohn Theater.
