Venerable and award-winning director Jerry Douglas only makes one film a year, and it's always worth the wait. His latest project is set in that bastion of homoeroticism, the frat house. Danny Roddick is being blackmailed by another brother who discovered Roddick's side-job–porn! To get revenge, Roddick decides to lure the entire house into gay sex, then take photos as his own ammunition. Aside from the nicely varied but always great sex, Douglas takes remarkable care introducing us to the characters and their various issues–the well-connected rich boy, the foreign exchange student, the born-again God botherer, the fuck-anything-that-moves sex hound, the incestuous nerd brothers, the nervous pledge, and so on. Roddick seduces each one in turn in an assortment of ways, from offering to help with shaving to "it doesn't count as cheating if it's a guy." There's a genuine connection between Roddick and roommate-cum-boyfriend Jan Fischer as they hunt down the culprit, and especially in their romantic conclusion scene. In the final orgy (where nobody needs convincing anymore), Tory Mason and Dean Phoenix only have eyes for each other. Roddick is a capable lead and comparative newbies Dallas Reeves and Sebastian Rivers are both excellent actors.

White Heat: Trunks 4
This is summer as it should be, filled with sun, sand, palm trees, glittering pools and huge hairy men. Out at some spectacular Palm Springs guesthouse, Hot House's hirsute hunks are so hot they need to keep jumping in and out of the water to cool off. The film is shot in beautiful, bright, clean sun, yet with that slight fetishy element of soaked spandex clinging tightly to bulging muscles. In the first scene, Francesco D'Macho and Christoph Scharff pose together on a white stone plinth like statues of Greek gods (except that the Greeks preferred small dicks). Talk about "white heat" – Scharff ends up with his face painted in white. Dak Ramsey and Ty LeBeouf are both short but stocky, kinda cutish, kinda brutish, and they get down to some good, butch, versatile man-fucking. But the best scene comes when Tyler Saint and Thom Barron collide, both smooth and muscled with huge uncut wangs. What a nice summer sandwich that would make! Park Wiley gets a mouthful: newly bulked up from the skinny twink he used to be, Park starts sucking Tyler, with the same condom on that's just been up Thom's ass, even deep-throating it. Ain't never seen that before.
