In honor of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, Feb. 7, AIDS Service organizations, health departments, and other organizations in several locations across the state will be holding workshops, giving free AIDS tests, and distributing condoms and information as a part of Michigan’s first annual Black AIDS Awareness campaign. The campaign will continue through March 19.

Feb. 10, 17, 24 & March 3, 10, 17

Grand Rapids: McAuley Health Center and HIV/AIDS Services will provide short HIV educational sessions and HIV counseling and testing. Gift cards will be offered to participants of the educational sessions. Condoms and other safer sex materials will be distributed. Browning Claytor Health Center, 1246 Madison Ave., SE.
