I can hardly put into words my overwhelming pleasure at reading your editorial, seeing your cover, and reading the story you did for us on the Ferndale Blues Festival. Your writer is amazing…and whoever wrote the editorial I want to hug. Not everyone “gets” the blues. Someone there does. Between the Lines has really hit a home run on this week’s issue for us.
You have tied the festival, Midwest AIDS Prevention Project, charity support, HIV/AIDS, the GLBT community, even black culture, and what we go through … all together, which is what we have been trying to do for six years.
Thank you.
Everyone at MAPP and the Blues Committee appreciates profoundly what you have done for us this week.
