The organization Lesbians, Gays and Bisexuals of Botswana has sued the government over the nation’s gay sex ban.
Group members filed suit April 29, saying the ban violates rights to freedom of association and privacy and makes gay and lesbian people criminals.
A previous challenge to the sodomy law failed in 2003.
