Affirmations Youth Collect Hats & Mittens for CharityƊ
For the month of December, Affirmations Youth have decided to sponsor a hat and mitten tree. The idea is to attach new or lightly used hats and mittens to the tree. These items will then be donated to those in need. Donations will be accepted through the last day in December. Just drop them by the Center, and attach them to the tree with the clothes pins!

Holidays stressing you out? Why not come to Affirmations and get a half-hour table massage? Dec. 12th, and Dec. 13th, massage therapist Melissa Godzik will be at the Center donating relaxation massages. For a suggested donation of $15 or more, a half-hour of escape can be yours! This will be the 19th year organizers have put together the Christmas Celebration for People Who Care About People With AIDS. It will take place at St. John’s Episcopal Church on Woodward Ave, at the corner of 11 Mile Road in Royal Oak, at 4 p.m. The choir from Full Truth Church and Detroit Together Men’s Chorus plan to be there. Coalition for Adoption Rights Equality (CARE) is planning a We Are Family Lobby Day for Tuesday, May 11, 2004, the day after Mother’s Day.
